Enter the Midnight Trio

Chapter 2

Ok.. you can stop scratching your heads now! Our trio were mysteriously tossed into the world of DragonBall Z. *clears throat* Sorry... back to the story.

Gohan approaches, stopping on a dime a few feet from our crew. He walks over with a small cloth pouch tied to his belt. *If you've been following the series, Gohan is about 17 now and attending Orange Star High School... moving along*

*smiling gently*

*Banshee stares at Gohan with wide eyes, blinking a few times to be sure she's seeing what she's seeing, gasps in excitement*

*hops around happily, shouting*

*looks at Manjiku before turning around*

*scolding Manji silently*

*getting a little serious*

*removing the pouch from his belt*

*extends his arm to hand the pouch to Neo*

*takes the pouch, opens it and examines its contents*

*in unison*

*smiling happily*

Neo nods, takes a single bean from the pouch and walks over to Manji.

*tapping Manji gently on his shoulder*

*slowly opening his eyes*

*blinks slightly*

*grinning*

*grinning also*

*hands Manji the bean*

*laughs gently, taking the bean from him*

*pops the bean in his mouth and chews on it a bit*

*chuckles slightly*

A few seconds later, Manji stands up cracks his neck, pops his shoulders and stretches a bit

*looks over at Gohan*

*smiles*

*reaches in his pocket and pulls out a dynocap, presses the button and tosses it *

Seconds later a large cloud of white smoke bursts from the Dynocap, once the smoke clears.... A black and red mid-sized four door car appears

*looking at the car*

*raises her eyebrow in confusion*

*shrugs*

*grabs the keys*

Gohan tosses the keys towards our crew and Banshee catches em before the others could.

*smiling, grinning happily*

*quickly responding, in unison*

*Banshee runs off towards the car, laughing while Neo and Manjiku chases after her.*

While Neo holds Banshee (struggling as she is I might add), Manjiku grabs the keys from her then bolts for the car, hopping in the driver's side.

*rolling down the window*

*running towards the car, hopping in the passengers side*

*pouting*

*looks out the window*

*grins*

Suddenly, Manjiku starts up the car, fastens his seatbelt, lights a cig then turns to his comrades.

*in unison*

*fastening their seatbelts*

*starts laughing like a mad man, throws the car into drive then slams on the gas*

The sudden jolt from the car throws Neo and Banshee back into their seats.

*smacking him in the back of his head*

*rubbing his head*

*laughing at Banshee and Neo*

After about a half hour later... Manji is driving normally (and quite well I might add) but not more than 10 minutes and two cigs later......

*pulling the car over to the side of the road in a screeching halt, jerking Banshee and Neo almost out of their seats*

*obviously in serious pain, throws the car in park gets out, managing to get himself to the middle of the road.*

*very concerned at this point*

*getting out of the car to help Manji... Neo following behind*

*walking towards him*

*swallowing hard*

*his body trembling, wracked with pain*

Suddenly.....

*as he runs for the car he clearly hops over the car, and gets in the passenger side as Ban gets in the drivers side and peels wheels*

No sooner they got a few miles away from where Manji was left behind, A flash of light consumes the area where he was, then suddenly this blood curdling scream was heard. It was Manjiku, being attacked by the same force he was hit by when they first arrived. But this didn't hurt him at all... he was slowly changing, growing stronger, faster, more agile and his senses were almost animal like.

*stops the car*

*appearing beside the car, smiling gently, looking fine*

*laughs gently*

*looks at Manji curiously*

*blinks with confusion*

*getting out of the car to meet Manji on the other side*

*his body looking very developed, as if he'd been lifting weights for a long time but this was only a few moments*

*hesitates slightly*

*leaning against the car*

*stepping out of the car then leaning near Neo*

Manji walks to the middle of the road, facing the left side of it, into an empty field. Slowly raising his arms, bringing them to the center of his body. Gathering up his energy slightly. As he finishes, he starts saying a word.

*a sudden blast of energy surges from his shoulders thru his arms and forward out of his hands forming what seems to be a energy sword*

*in unison*
