*a short pause starts before the silence is broken*
Manji/Neo: We're not???
Banshee: Not only that.... we're like flying!
As they look around, Neo and Manjiku both notice that Banshee wasn't joking and in fact they were flying. Altho some would be scared of this little change but for Manjiku and Neo, they were enjoying this moment.
Manjiku: This is way past cool..... I've so wondered how it would be to fly.
Neo: You and me both bro ¹..
(¹ Since you are probably wondering, Manjiku and Neo aren't actually brothers, they've known one another for a several years. The two of them went thru tons of stuff together and for that they treat one another as brothers. I would explain further but and you can wikipedia it faster and I have a story to tell here, so let me keep going.)
*Manjiku suddenly falls to the ground*
Manjiku: I don't feel so good guys....
*Neo and Banshee fly down to help their fallen comrade*
Neo/Banshee: Are you alright Manji?
Manjiku: I... I dunno, I feel real light headed and I have no clue why... but it feels like my body is burning up!
Banshee leans forward to put her hand on Manjiku's forehead to see if he has a fever. But the moment she does she suddenly pulls her hand away from being burned
Banshee: Fei! I burned mah hand on his forehead!
Neo: What the.....
Neo checks the back of Banshee's hand. As he looks at her hand he cannot find the burn mark she got when she touched Manji's forehead.
Neo: I don't see any marks... Are you sure you got burned?
Banshee: Of course I'm sure I got burned.... S'why I have a..... *looks at the back of her hand* But. It was here, I wouldn't lie about something like that. *notices something odd about her arm* Th... That scar I got when I was young is... *short pause* GONE?!?
Neo: I remember that scar.. you showed it to me in a picture before. What the hell is going on here????
*Manjiku screams*
Manjiku: H...HELP ME!!!!!
As Banshee and Neo both turn their attention back to Manjiku, they notice that his entire body is completely engulfed in a blue flame.
Banshee:/Neo: Manjiku!!!
*Banshee starts to run forward to help her little brother²*
(² Yeah, I know... another note from me.... Just shaddap and read this aiite! Basically.... just like Neo, Banshee and Manji aren't related either. Manjiku has known Banshee for the same amount of time as he's known Neo. So on the flipside, they treat one another as if they were brother and sister related by bloodlines. Now stop yer whinin'... getting back to muh story.. friggin' cry babies...)
As they start running towards Manjiku, someone shoots a dud in front of them doing nothing but making a dust cloud. Attempting to keep them from getting to their brother.
Stranger: Stay away from him....
Manjiku: AAAAGGGH!!! HELP ME!!
Neo: Who directly the fuck do you think you are keeping us from helping him.... can't you see he's in pain?
Banshee: He's gonna die if we don't help him!
Stranger: He'll be fine.... *looks at Manjiku* He'll be better off this way.
*Neo grits his teeth and Banshee tenses up*
Neo/Banshee: WHAT?!?
Suddenly as if it was a reflex, Neo draws this massive katana that he carries with him and lunges for the stranger. As he reaches the stranger, he stops in front of him putting the intensely sharp blade against the stranger's throat.
Neo: If you don't get the fuck out of my way I will make you get out of my way... and trust me, You won't be around to see IF he is going to be alright or not!
Banshee: NEO! STOP!
Stranger: I'm going to tell you this one time.... get that fucking blade away from my throat before I have to floor your ass. Second, your friend is going to be fine. You don't know anyone out here... you're going to have to trust me.
Banshee: *runs to Neo's side, talking to him gently* Please... calm down, He's telling the truth.
Neo: *turns his head slightly to look at Banshee* Are you sure?
Banshee: I don't know why, but I can sense that he's being truthful about Manji.
Neo: *turns his attention to the outsider* He BETTER be alright. Because if he dies... SO HELP ME, I will strike you down right where you fucking stand!
Banshee: *also looks at the stranger* And I won't stop him either...
Stranger: So be it...
Suddenly as the three turn their attention to Manjiku, he begins to levatate off the ground. As the blue flames that were once surrounding his body slowly begin to disappear, everyone now starts to notice he looks completely different. He looks at his family and the stranger that kept them from coming to his aide.
Manjiku: *looking at the outsider near Neo and Banshee, a slight but noticable growl to his voice* You sadistic son of a bitch..... *slowly walking towards this person* How fucking dare you stop them from helping me..... *his eyes now turning a deep blood red color*
Neo: Holy....
Banshee: Shit?!?
Stranger: *looking at Manjiku as he draws closer to him* They wouldn't have.....
Manjiku: *stopping a few feet from his newly found victim, standing over him in his new form* How the fuck do you know they couldn't be able to help me?
Manjiku holds up a single finger towards this person, his right hand glowing in the same blue flames as he once was, but this time he feels nothing but the pure anger that is inside him.
Manjiku: *concentrating on this new found power he has been given, he slowly begins to bring his hands in front of him* You see... there is one thing you should never do and unfortunately you have made a grave mistake coming between my family and I. *slowly he brings his hands into formed motion for this attack, already in his fighting stance* I think I should show you what happens to those that come between us.
Neo: OH SHIT! *looks at Banshee* In his current state of anger we need to get out of here NOW!
Banshee: I agree.. *Banshee walks over to Neo, puts her arms around him then closes her eyes, instantly she transports herself and Neo to a safe distance away from Manji's outreaching rage*
Stranger: Manjiku.. please... calm down!!
Manjiku: *laughs slightly, an edge of rage consuming him* Calm down? *he draws in the flame that's covering his right hand, concentrating it into a small ball of energy in the center of that same hand* I'm afraid you're going to suffer... *he thrusts his hands forward towards this now intended target for this unknown attack he is going to pull off*
Manjiku: *begins chanting something in what sounds to be Irish Gaelic* Go lagaí cúnna ifrinn thú. Go scriosa an diabhal do chroí. ÉAG! ³
(³ I know, I know... you're wondering what the hell he just said. Well here you go.... Translation from Irish Gaelic: May the hounds of hell weaken you. May the devil destroy your heart. DIE! Phonetic: guh LAH-gwee KOO-nuh IHF-rin HOO. guh SHKRIH-suh uhn JOWL duh KHREE. AYG!)
Manjiku: You will bother us no more.......
As he finished chanting he points his hand forward... sending a blue beam of energy or "Ki" as it's called, hurtling forward the outsider,it begins to gain a tremendous amount of speed, not giving this person a chance to react.
Stranger: Holy.. Fu...
Before he could even finish what he was saying... the massive blast collides with his body and exploding with a tremendous force, destroying everything in its path.
Stranger: AAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!
Neo: Damn....
Banshee: Ooooh! That's gotta HURT!
Manjiku: *falls to the ground, exhausted and drained of his energy* Uungh!
A few moments later, Manjiku comes to with Banshee kneeling over him and Neo looking around for that strange person that was hit but the massive blast.
Neo: *mumbling under his breath* Now where the fuck did he get to??
Manjiku: *slowly opening his eyes* W...what happened? *looking at Banshee with that dazed look in his eyes still*
Banshee: *looks down at Manji* Well, to put it simply... *grinning slightly* You fucked him the fuck up! *laughs gently*
Manjiku tries to laugh but only manages a weak smile, suddenly Neo walks back over to see how his bro is doing. His sword drawn still, keeping alert in case their unknown foe comes back for seconds.
Neo: That fuck.... You hit him square with that blast and he's no where to be found! *pauses slightly* No charred remains, no pieces of clothing... NOTHING!
Banshee: Could he have already been...
Manjiku: *breathing gently* I dunno but all I know is that blast took a lot out of me..
*Banshee looks down and notices the complete change in Manji's body
Banshee: *kneeling beside Manji* Your skin, it's grey and you've lost a lot of weight. *cocks an eyebrow*
Neo: *notices a bit of shirt missing on his arm* Um Bro.. You never told me you had a tatt.
Manjiku: *with the bit of strength he has, he raises his arm to examine it and notices a red tattoo* I never had one... I guess whatever I went though put this here. I need to rest but we will...
Stops talking suddenly, but even in his weakened state, Manjiku notices someone with a huge amount of energy rushing towards them.
Manjiku: Help me onto my feet..
Banshee/Neo: You're in no...
Manjiku: *speaking with a slightly deeper voice hinting his anger* Look... there's someone heading in our direction and very fast. Either get me on my feet or we're all sitting ducks!
Neo: *with his usual sly grin creeping up* We're sitting ducks either way..
Banshee: He's right...
Manjiku: Bah, I ain't givin' up yet!
With a sudden thought, Manjiku's energy shoots thru the roof once again, just enough to get him on his feet and 50% combat worthy in case Neo and Banshee needs his help.
Neo: Showtime!
Banshee: *picks up a gun she found lying on the ground near Manjiku, drops the empty clip, pops in a new one then loads the chamber* Buckle up, s'gonna be a rough one.
Suddenly Manjiku gets a glimpse of the person coming towards them in a blinding rate of speed.
Manjiku: G..Gohan? *without warning, he passes out from exhaustion, landing on his face*
Neo/Banshee: *looking at each other, speaking in unison* Gohan?!?
Neo: *turning his attention to Manji, sighing* Stubborn ass!
Banshee: Fei...
